ABOUT WOW

Created and run by Gavin Watt since 1999,

WOW is a small company with big ideas.

Specialised in marketing communication for companies, brands and international institutions, WOW has, over the years, worked on a wide range of projects in a number of different markets.
While, of course, we love coming up with our own great ideas, we’re not averse to working on someone else’s either. Indeed we're happy to adapt an international campaign for local use or deliver a concept in English for other markets.

In short, we can write and compose your strategy (either with or for you), interpret a given strategy into creation, copy and ideas and/or project manage all the different activities and players involved.

That’s perfect Gavin, thank you so much!

As a result we've helped develop dozens of brand stories, written countless articles and ads, and conceived numerous films and brochures for clients.

WOW believes ‘everything is communication’, and that, as a consequence, each and every little thing matters.

WONDERFUL.

THANKS FOR THE FAST RESPONSE.

I’ve received your contact details from an ex-colleague of mine.

If you’d like to have a chat, please just call or write.

Gavin Watt profile: born, raised and educated in Scotland, I have been in the advertising business for 30+ years. Oddly enough, I studied Mechanical Engineering at Southampton University in England but quickly realised that it wasn't a career for me. The choice to go into advertising may have been a mixture of good fortune and opportunity, but it has certainly proved to be right up my street. My first job in a busy production department taught me that 'nothing is impossible' and that planning helps a lot! It was there that I first took on more of a client services role for international clients, and this - little by little - led me to become an Account Director/Strategic Planner at larger agencies handling a varied range of accounts.

In 1999, I started WOW ... and quickly realised that clients didn't just want strategic ideas, but really needed clear and succinct headlines and copy. As this has been a job I've done over by the years as and when required, I embraced the divide and started writing both English-language copy and strategies. WOW has recently celebrated 20 years in business and I am delighted to confirm that I continue to create concepts, develop integrated campaigns, write copy for brands and conceive appropriate texts for all sorts of media.
